- Lot Description
American, 20th century. Modern aluminum metal wall sculpture depicting a geographical map rendering of the United States of America with incised borders demarcating states. Flattened sculptural map with wire mounted on back for hanging on wall. Apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 28" x 47.25".
Condition
Front surface generally with minor scratches and abrasions. Aluminum shavings from production remain in some channels between states and along edges. Turned abrasions around both screw sockets. Linear abrasion through Colorado and into Wyoming, approximately 5.25" long.
