Chinese, likely 15th century Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). A deep welled bowl with allover sea green colored glaze enhancing the steeply rounded sides decorated to exterior with winding stems of peony blossoms and leaves in bas relief below a wide band of meandering key at rim, and decorated to interior with similar incised peony motif surrounding a central medallion with cross-hatched center surrounded by a ring of radiating lines, the bowl raised on a round foot unglazed to its interior apart from a circle at center. Approximately 4.625" tall, 10" diameter.
No signs of cracks or chips. Minor glazing imperfection on rounded body. Wear to bottom from light shelf use and handling. Rim with production defect on interior. Bowl with light dirt and grime and would likely benefit from professional cleaning. Glaze with very light craquelure. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
