- Lot Description
Mid Century Neoclassical style gilt metal window seat bench having scrolling ends hung with molded tassels enclosing the padded green and beige plaid upholstered seat with mounted center bolster pillow and terminating in outswept legs and incurvate toes united by a tubular stretcher, the corners mounted with c-scroll brackets. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 24.75", width 58.75", seat depth 17.5", seat height 15.75".
Condition
Bench structurally stable. Upholstery in good condition without fading, holes or rips. Frame with substantial wear to finish including oxidation (predominately on joints), brass finish loss, and discoloration possibly from cleaner. Light scattered surface scratches throughout. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
