- Lot Description
Thomas Williams Foundry (American (New York), circa 1900. William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt jugate campaign bronze figural plaque with double portrait in relief depicted at bust length under each president's name. Lower center incised "Tho. Williams 1900", artist signed center of left side "R.P. Golde" above "1900". Unframed approximately 10.3" x 13.6".
Condition
Plaque with three circular drilled holes. Split to bronze running vertically down center approximately 3.25". Additional cut at bottom running into signature (approximately 0.25"). Oxidation to plaque throughout with some darkened speckling to patina. Plaque dated 1900 at lower center beside signature, also dated 1900 at left. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
