• Lot Description
  Maxwell Taylor (Bahamian (active South Carolina), b. 1939-), "The Immigrants No. 2"-1996, woodcut, artist's proof noted, titled, signed and dated in graphite in lower margin "Artist's Proof The Immigrants No. 2 Maxwell Taylor 96 SC". Multi-figural monochromatic woodcut print depicting Rwandan men, women and children marching with sacks containing their possessions balanced on their heads, the women with head scarves, one man with a hat. Framed approximately 44.75" x 62.75". Sight approximately 31.5" x 49.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Calvin Wayne McLarin, Atlanta, Georgia.
