Mauser Manufacturing Company (American (New York, New York), 1887-1903) and Loetz (Austrian, 1836-1947). An art glass bottle with mold blown pink to purple iridescent glass bottle with sterling silver overlay swirls and scrolling on rounded form. Collar below hinged circular lid with repousse scrolled foliate border surrounding figural winged nude cherub below flowers. Collar marked with unicorn mark for Mauser Mfg. Co. beside "STERLING 925/1000 FINE". Approximate height 4.6", diameter of lid 2.5", diameter of glass base 3.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Sterling is in overall good condition with minor pitting. Glass appears to have stress fractures and a significant crack that runs along the base of the interior. Glass is stable however.
