Maurice Utrillo (French, 1883-1955). "Monsieur Perrot" - 1924, pastel on paper laid down to later pink sheet, signed and dated lower right. Pastel depicting a street scene from one end with figures walking away from the viewer and up a hill toward a group of gray buildings in background below yellow to blue skies, with stylized tree to left of scene above a wooden structure with sign reading "Bernot" above a street sign for Rue du Mofit, and to right of street a black metal fence with illegible sign to it and a tall tree craning out over top. Framed approximately 21.375" x 18.375", sheet size approximately 10.5" x 7.625".
