- Lot Description
Marian Holland (American (Colorado/Florida), 1912-2010), "Untitled I"-1966, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left. Horizontally aligned modern abstract painting depicting undulating black sketchy lines throughout composition with surrounding multicolored patches. Framed approximately 24.75" x 48.75". Unframed approximately 48" x 24".
Condition
Painting not relined. Canvas allover with subtle rippling, perhaps caused by loose stretching or uneven drying of paint - not distracting. Modest layer of dirt/ grime especially evident on white area - may benefit from professional cleaning. Various slight depressions to canvas commensurate with handling. No apparent abrasions, tears, or losses.
