Style of Oscar Bach (German-American, 1884-1957), circa 1920. A signed petite, small, or diminutive gueridon or occasional table comprising a round black marble top surmounting the bronze base comprising a conforming circular apron decorated with stylized classical columnar motifs resting on three hand wrought bronze leaf form cabriole legs joined by a wrought iron ring stretcher, terminating in hound mask feet. Inset iron plaque at underside of leg reads "Oscar Bach." Approximate height 21.25", diameter 15.25", knee to knee 16".
Table is structurally sound. Marble top with numerous losses to upper edge including small nicks to larger dings. Iron base with oxidation and patination commensurate with age and light handling. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
