Louis XVI style alabaster and brushed gold metal seven light chandelier having a corona with inverted finial issuing five downswept supports joined to the pierced circulet modeled as a French balustrade decorated with flambeau torches and scrollilng foliage having five illuminated hemispherical shape alabaster mounts, each within an oval ribbon tied laurel leaf frame, all above an alabaster bowl concealing two lights and terminating in a foliate finial. Corona is stamped 'E M & Co' and '1132'. Approximate height 30", diameter of circulet 25".
Light, even wear to patina with some minor casting flaws. Back sides of alabaster medallions with minor knicks & chips, although, not visible from outside. Two out of five oval medallion with numerous repairs with white infill, although, not noticeable from outside. Large alabaster bowl with darker veining, all appearing to be repairs.
