- Lot Description
French, late 19th/early 20th century. Louis XV style carved rosewood full size bed having rococo shaped headboard and footboard centered with stylized rocaille and floral cresting over a radiating quarter veneered panel, raised on shell and floral carved squat cabriole legs with scrolled toes. Approximate height 60.12", width 63" depth 79.5". Approximate interior width 54.4", depth 76".
Condition
Overall with separation at seams due to shrinkage. Overall with abrasions and scratches to surface commensurate with use. With major glue repair to leafy foliage crest at footboard. Rails with surface scratches, abrasions and dings, commensurate with use.
