French, 18th century. Louis XV beech wood carved and upholstered bergere a cabriolet, with incurved and slightly arched padded back, sides, elbow rests and serpentine loose cushion seat within a carved frame on cabriole legs ending in scroll toes, upholstered in a gingham style fabric. Approximate height 34.8", width 29", seat depth 22", seat height 16.5".
Structurally sound and overall very good condition. Fabric is odor free with no rips, tears or stains. Refer to image #4 for close up of upholstery which is coral, salmon and cream colored checkered pattern.
