Loetz (Austrian, 1836-1947), circa 1890. A ruffled and crimped art glass centerpiece bowl having an iridescent amethyst oil spot decorated exterior body, probably Medici decor, set in a Jugendstil bronze quadruple footed base with scrolling pierced brackets and arched braces. Polished pontil, apparently unmarked. Approximate height 9.4", diameter of mouth 9.6" (widest part rim to rim).
Excellent condition. Bronze base has apparently been cleaned. No chips, cracks or repairs.
