• Lot Description
  Lesley Schiff (American, b. 1951- ), "Seasons" portfolio-1980-1981, comprising of 24 color xerography prints, each signed and dated on verso by artist within a blue clamshell box with gold text on front reading "SEASONS" and "LESLEY SCHIFF", also with "DOCUMENTATION SHEET" noting that this portfolio is "85/100" (edition of 100 with 25 signed artist proofs), published by Prestige Art, Ltd. Documentation sheet lists all 24 images contained therein including "Beachball", "Column", "Leopards", "Butterfly", "Sony Radio". "Clock", "Jewels", "Sea Fan", "Flower in Hand", "Woman", "Man in Profile", "Baby Doll", "Pine Tree", "Bird", "Leaf", "Flowers", "Toy Snake", "Fruits", "Globe", "Fish Bowl", "Rocket Ship and Soldier", "T.V. Gyroscope", "Children in Water" and "Star". Each image measures approximately 10.5" x 8.5". Note: This portfolio is also in the collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Schiff is a noted artist whose work is in many notable public and private collections including The Museum of Modern Art, New York City; The Whitney Museum of Art, New York City; David & Alfred Smart Museum in Chicago, Illinois; Goldman & Sachs, New York City; The Chase Manhattan Bank Collection, New York City and others. Her work has been exhibited at a number of galleries worldwide including Weinberger Fine Art, Kansas City, Missouri; Gallery Arte Wallhop, Basel, Switzerland; Alexia Goethe Fine Art, London, England; Galerie Mesmer, Basel Switzerland; The Aldridge Museum, Greenwich, Connecticut; Ariel Gallery, Atlanta, Georgia and others.
