- Lot Description
Le Verre Francais (Schneider Glassworks), (French (Epinay-sur-Seine), 1918-1933). A large and impressive cameo art glass vase or urn from the Charder series with tapering vasiform shape under flaring rim, mounted on round brown pedestal form foot, the body of orange and yellow ground with cameo decoration in a gradient from orange to deep brown, vase with polished pontil. Marked to side in cameo "Charder", and etched to top of foot "Le Verre Francais". Approximate height 14.125", diameter of mouth 9.25".
Condition
Overall very good condition. Very minor surface wear. Foot with wear consistent with age and contact with surface.
