American, Circa 1880 - 1895. Late 19th century Navajo child's blanket finely woven in strong geometric pattern of serrated diamonds in natural, deep red, orange, yellow, gray, indigo and navy. Approximate size 46" x 36.5".
Evidence of fraying & knotting to some threads. Minor fading & discoloration, commensurate with age & usage. Minor stains. No odor. Small hole to center of one end on dark gray area. 3 tiny holes to one gray diamond.
