Rene Lalique (French, 1860-1945) for Molinard (French, founded 1849), circa 1920s. A gilt brass mounted frosted glass perfume atomizer, the rounded body with nude Bacchanalian figures in full length engaged in dance, mounted at top with an hourglass form gilt brass mechanism with retractable round trigger at top and nozzle at side with twist off cap attached by chain. Marked to side of metal mount "'Le Provencal'-Molinard-Bte SGDG", and to underside of glass "Molinard France" and "Lalique". Approximate height 5.25", width 3.25", depth 2". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Minor oxidation to the gilt brass. Dirt residue to the interior bottom. Scratches to the base commensurate with age and contact with surface. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
