- Lot Description
Lalique (French, founded 1888), circa 1987. Molded and frosted art glass animal table top sculpture in the form of a seated regal lion with flowing mane and calm facial expression. Underside with label reading "MADE IN FRANCE" beside with signature from Marie-Claude Lalique, the designer of this sculpture, "Lalique France" and "10 20 87 ", presumably for the date of execution. Approximate height 8", width 3.25", depth 7.25".
Condition
Very good condition. No chips, cracks or repairs noted. Very minor scratches on underside/base from contact with surface.
