- Lot Description
Cartier (French, founded 1847). A ladies Must de Cartier wristwatch with slim round gold vermeil over sterling silver case and bezel, red leather alligator motif band, and quartz movement, with slim round case and bezel, silver face with oversized black Roman numerals around an inner chapter of squared form with blued steel sword hands, with crown to right side with cobalt blue stone cap, and single lugs connecting to the bracelet with vermeil Cartier deployment clasp. Back of case inscribed "Cartier, Paris, Vermeil, Quartz, Argent 925, Plaque Org 20m, Swiss Made, 098235, 590004" with various other maker and argent marks. Case approximately 24mm diameter.
Condition
Pre-owned condition. Watch is currently keeping accurate time. Surface of bezel, clasp and gold tone lugs have some surface wear however not distracting. Leather band is not stable and is pulling away from deployment clasp. Band has some areas of rubbing and wear with loss of leather. Some of stitching on the band is fraying.
