Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933), early 20th century. A Tiffany Studios iridescent favrile art glass bud vase in the King Tut pattern with swirling fields of iridized blue, green, and yellow, the diminutive vase organically shaped with bulbous base surmounted by rippled cylindrical neck and narrow mouth. Marked to underside "V 426 L.C. Tiffany Favrile". Approximate height 3.25", diameter 3.875". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Scattered small included bubbles (under surface). There are a couple of small surface bubbles. Roughness to the interior rim under mouth. Very minute flea bite on rim of foot as would be expected from age and contacted with surface. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
