Kansai Yamamoto (Japanese, founded 1971). Vintage 1980s designer ladies short baseball form jacket with dolman sleeves, black cotton trim on collar and cuffs, silver tone metal snap button closure at front, overall in silk black and white graffiti pattern with writing, stars, arrows, eyes, zig-zags, spirals, and other artistic marks. Interior with black lining with white label reading "KBS" above "KANSAI YAMAMOTO" and US size M. Jacket length (collar to hem) approximately 22.5". Note: Yamamoto is attributed to helping revive the traditional Japanese kimono by creating avant-garde designs for noted celebrities such as musician David Bowie who wore Yamamoto's reinterpreted kimonos on his Ziggy Stardust Tour.
