- Lot Description
Joan Miro (Spanish, 1893-1983), "Italia 1969", lithograph, pencil signed lower right with anagram, numbered in pencil lower left margin "83/200". Lithograph printed in 1970 by Sala Gaspar, Barcelona. Limited edition lithograph print with abstract composition with loose thick black lines with red, blue, green and yellow colored accents, artist's name lower right above pencil signature. Framed 38" x 31.5". Sight size approximately 29" x 22.75".
Condition
Work examined out of frame and not laid down, connected to mat board at top and upper edge of sides with white hinging tape, remnant of older brown hinging tape visible at top on verso. Scattered foxing throughout front of work, light even toning to sheet, light mat burn, light handling to sheet with minor ripples, sheet possibly cut down. No other signs of damage, loss or repair. No holes, tears or rips. Sheet size approximately 30" x 22.8".
