Jim Dine (American, b. 1925). "The End of the Crash" - 1960, lithograph on Arches paper with four deckled edges, limited edition 13/32, published by Martha Jackson Gallery, pencil titled, numbered, and signed to lower margin. Print in black and red on inscribed to center in black "CRASH!!!" amid black swirls and star forms above an equilateral red cross. Framed approximately 48.5" x 34.75". Sheet size 40.125" x 26.125".
Sheet not examined out of the frame in order to preserve condition - sheet mounted floating within frame so all edges are visible. Sheet with allover even toning, with a field of miniscule foxing marks from center to right side. Each of four deckled edges with some bending and curling commensurate with general handling. No apparent tears, abrasions, pin holes, or losses.
