Jefferson Lamp Co. (American (Ohio/ Virginia), 1900-1933, circa 1920s. A large and impressive bronze lamp with reverse painted satin glass shade, the bronze base with hexagonal foot surmounted by undulating faceted shaft and double sockets and acorn pull chains, the hexagonal satin glass shade reverse painted in light green with a band of vibrant yellow, red, and blue flowers on a thorny vine along lower edge of shade, the glass's exterior finished with acid etched texture. Shade marked to bronze ring rest at top "Jefferson", base apparently unmarked. Interior of shade numbered "6284" and signed "TEE". Approximate height 23", diameter of shade 14".
Overall very good condition. There is oxidation to the metal heat cap. Scattered scratches to the finish on the standard and base. Both sockets are General Electric with bell chain pulls. No cap/cover on the plug. Very minor scratches to the shade.
