Japanese, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Patinated bronze figural table top sculpture depicting a standing crane with beak upturned standing on coastal rocks with thick rope loop. Unmarked. Approximate height 13.5", width 10.4", depth 4.75".
Light wear to patination on rocks from handling. Scattered dirt and dust--would likely benefit from professional cleaning. Minor separation on right leg above claw foot. Scratch to bronze on neck of crane above feathers. Light wear to bottom from shelf use commensurate with age. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
