- Lot Description
Japanese, 20th century. Cloisonne enamel floor vase with metal flared rim above squat neck on round tapering body to copper bottom. Interior in dark green, exterior with pink peonies and purple and white cascading flowers with green leaves amid branches with perched and flying small grey feathered birds on cobalt blue. Unmarked. Approximate height 35.25", diameter of opening 8".
Condition
Overall great condition. Small area of missing enamel measuring approximately an inch (see image 5). No other repairs or signs of damage. Slight oxidation to banding on foot, commensurate with age.
