Italian, Early 20th century. Carved alabaster figural table lamp with rounded fitted shade with faux fringed texture around rim surrounded electrified lamp socket supported on a circular candle cup on a baluster form shaft above jagged rock form with nude wingless putti or cherub with short curled hair, looking down with amused pleasant face, one arm raised up with hand grabbing on to rock for stability, opposite hand with tucked at side. Apparently unsigned. Overall approximate height 32.25".
Overall very good condition. Probably converted from a stand or pedestal. Small chip at base rim/mouth of shade and at top of baluster shaft. Very minor patch/repair to circular cup supporting shade. Cannot guarantee shade is original as piece was probably converted.
