A fine and impressive Louis XV Provincial walnut carved buffet deux corps having a paneled molded upper case with a bonneted top above a conforming and paneled frieze centered with a six petal rosette above a pair of double fielded paneled doors with fluted stile and long iron fiche hinges opening to an interior fitted with two adjustable shelves, the case with two frieze drawers decorated with scrolled panels and centered by a roundel over a pair of paneled cupboard doors and fluted stile opening to a single shelf, the sides also carved with fielded panels over a scroll carved apron raised on squat cabriole legs terminating in scrolled toes. Approximate height 111", width 59.5", depth 26.25". Provenance: Purchased from Jacqueline Adams Antiques, 425 Peachtree Hills Avenue, Suite 7, Atlanta, GA 30305, whereby acquired by a Private Collection in Atlanta, Georgia.
