Hermes (French, founded 1837). Circa 1965 designer “Les Voitures a Tranformation” silk twill scarf with title in oval gold medallion at center surrounding door knocker against gray woven pattern surrounded by wheeled motor cars on white ground within burgundy border. Lower center with "HERMES-PARIS", lower right with "LA PERRIERE" for designer of pattern, Françoise De La Perriere. Overall measures approximately 34.5" x 34". Provenance: From the Estate of Karen F. Rohrer of Tucker, Georgia.
