Hermes (French, founded 1837). Circa 1990 designer "Grand Manege" silk twill scarf with title at upper middle of overall equesterian design with brown interlocking belts with gold buckles and hardware rings amid grey ribbons with tied ribboned bows on white ground within slate blue border. Marked as "Hermes Paris" in lower central scene, "H' d'ORiGNY" lower right for Henri d'Origny designer of pattern. Overall measures approximately 34.5" square. Provenance: From the Estate of Karen F. Rohrer of Tucker, Georgia.
Very good condition overall with two small barely noticeable pin holes lower right (likely from brooch) and a few scattered thread pulls (not particularly distracting or noticeable). No signs of further damage, loss, staining or repair.
