Hermes (French, founded 1837). Circa 1970 designer “Aux Champs” silk scarf with title at near center of scene on beige ribbon under horseshoe form accented by spring floral spray with daisies and Queen Anne's lace within strapwork with gold tone grommets and hardware border with clockwise letters spelling out Hermes, orange tasseled corners against green ground within brown sienna border. "HERMES-PARIS" lower center in oblong tag medallion. Scarf pattern designed by Cathy Latham. Retaining label on back from retailer Bergdorf Goodman. Scarf approximately 34.5" x 34.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Karen F. Rohrer of Tucker, Georgia.
Very good condition overall with a few scattered thread pulls--not particularly noticeable. No other signs of damage, loss, staining or repairs.
