- Lot Description
Hermès (French, founded 1837) for Bonwit Teller & Co.(American, founded 1895) handbag, stamped under flap closure "Hermès Paris", interior stamped "Made in France for Bonwit Teller". A black calf box (or veau leather) handbag, with black leather shoulder strap attached, with gold hardware, with classic Sac Dolly flap closure, with zipper closure exterior pocket concealed under flap closure, interior with one slip pocket. Overall approximately 8.5" x 10.25" x 3".
Condition
Very light horizontal crease spanning front of bag, not distracting. Very minor scattered scuffing throughout. Zipper with some minor wear commensurate with use. Reverse of bag with scattered light scratches.
