Herend Porcelain Manufactory (Hungary, 1826- ), circa 1985-1990. Twenty pieces dinner service in the Fortuna Rust pattern (Vboh) decorated with peach border, rust flowers and butterflies with gold trim comprising eight dinner plates, six dessert or pie plates and six bread and butter plates. All pieces marked for Herend with numbers and pattern in underglaze. Approximate diameter of dinner plates 10". Approximate diameter of dessert plates 8.25". Approximate diameter of bread plate 6.75".
May benefit from light cleaning. Overall with minor wear to gilt surfaces commensurate with light use, not distracting. Overall with scattered minor losses to paint surfaces, not distracting and commensurate with use. Overall with wear to underside feet commensurate with surface contact. Pie plates with scattered glazing imperfections to underside, original to pieces and not distracting. No apparent losses, chips or fractures.
