Helmut Gransow (Canadian, 1921-2000). "Shoreline", oil on masonite, signed lower right. Small Impressionist oil painting depicting a serene landscape with tree covered rolling hills to background behind a river or stream flowing horizontally across composition, the near bank with large boulders scattered throughout, the sky above scattered with purple and white clouds. Remnant of label to verso "L Temple / S Miguel, Jesuis 2" over "Helut Gransow R..." over "1921- Canadian" over "'Shore Line - Presa de Las..." over "oil 9x12". Framed approximately 15.875" x 18.375". Board size approximately 9" x 12".
Condition
Overall in excellent condition. Under blacklight examination, no apparent repairs or in painting. No apparent abrasions, losses, or lifting.
