Harald Nielsen (1892-1977) for Georg Jensen (Danish, founded 1904), circa 1945-1977. An art nouveau style sterling silver nappy or bowl of round open bowl form with double scrolling handle to one side adorned with two ball or berry forms and raised on a ring foot. Underside marked in the cast "DESSIN / HN" over "DENMARK" and "STERLING" flanking the maker's mark over "681". Approximate width across handle 8.75", diameter of basin 7", height 3.125". Total approximate weight 13.85 troy ounces. Provenance: From the Estate of Inger Andersen.
Very good condition overall with no signs of dents, dings, losses or repairs. No signs of monogramming (past or present). Form fully intact. Overall with light surface scratches from handling and use. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
