Hans Hansen Silversmithy (Danish, founded c.1906-1992). A three piece sterling silver tea set circa 1953 comprising a teapot, creamer, and lidded sugar, the teapot with ebonized wood handle, the creamer and sugar with delicate looping silver handles, the teapot and sugar with looping floriform finial. Each piece with standard marks, maker's marks, and date marks. Teapot approximate height 6", spout to handle 8.75". Sugar approximate width across handles 5.75", height 4". Creamer approximate height 4.25", spout to handle 4". Total approximate weight 37.8 troy ounces. Provenance: From the Estate of Inger Andersen. Note: the Hans Hansen Silversmithy was absorbed into Georg Jensen in 1992.
