Handel Lamp Company (1885-1941), circa 1920s. A bronze and glass table lamp comprising lamp base, #5184, of round form with shaped and fluted central shaft and heat cap with pointed design, the shaft surmounted by a round glass shade, #979664, with six sections of brown painted glass with bas relief floral patterning set above a band of geometric patterning in red, green, blue, and white, and with faux mini tassels to edge, with ball and stem double socket. Base marked to underside "HANDEL" beside "5184". Shade marked along top ring "HANDEL Pat'd. no. 979664". Approximate height 21.5", diameter of shade 16".
Glass panels without any issues. Base with slightly dirty patina and oxidation to the underside. New screws, double cluster Leviton sockets and pull chains with balls later. Gilbert cord later.
