James Yarbrough (American, 20th century). Group of two etchings on paper comprising "Dreaming of Herself Dreaming...", titled, signed and artist's proof noted in graphite in lower margin "Dreaming of Herself Dreaming... Artist's Proof Yarbrough", print depicting figural dreamscape with the sleeping bust of an apparently nude woman in the lower right corner, with a marine scene unfolding in the foreground, with ships and smalls boats on stormy seas, with the largest and centermost ship apparently transforming into a tree with bare branches and spindly roots, with the nude body of the dreaming woman in repose in the background apparently in place of the sky; and "Nude Female with Cigarette", signed in graphite in lower right margin "Yarbrough", figural print depicting a female nude with a smoking cigarette in hand, laying on the floor with her upper body propped up on her elbows, staring off the picture plane to the viewer's right. "Dreaming of Herself Dreaming..." framed approximately 15.6" x 19.5". "Dreaming of Herself Dreaming..." sight approximately 8.75" x 12.5". "Nude Female with Cigarette" framed approximately 12.5" x 20.5". "Nude Female with Cigarette" sight approximately 4.5" x 12.5".
