- Lot Description
Japanese, 19th century. Collection of three hand carved figural netsukes comprising of an ivory coiled snake (approximate height 0.8"; an ivory standing man in short robe smoking a pipe and holding his hat (approximate height 2.2"); and a carved wood (likely boxwood) seated man smoking pipe and holding objects in hands (approximate height 1.1"). All marked on bottom.
Condition
Snake shows traces of glue residue to head from prior breakage. No other losses noted.
