Continental, early 20th century. Group of two cameo art glass perfume vials or scent bottles, each in elongated and tapering form with satin finish; one in lemon yellow ground with cut white bellflowers and foliage to the front, a single butterfly to the back; the other in turquoise ground with cut white flowers and trailing foliage, a single butterfly to the back. Both vials have opal cameo cut 'covers' at the base, inscribed R. GEIGER (unknown). Each approximately 9.25" long. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Both vials lacking stoppers. The blue vial with a couple of small inclusions. The yellow vial reacts strongly to ultraviolet. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
