• Lot Description
  A group of seventeen seashell mounted sterling silver spoons in assorted patterns/manufacturers comprising six spoons by Reed and Barton (American, founded 1824); two spoons by Gorham (American, founded 1831- ); two spoons by Watson Co (American, 1880-1955); two spoons by Towle Silversmiths (American, founded 1882); one spoon by International Silver Co (American, founded 1898); one spoon by Webster Co (American, founded 1894); one spoon by George E. Shiebler & Co (American, 1876-1910); one spoon by Simons Brothers (American, founded 1840); and one spoon by Whiting Manufacturing Co (American, 1866-1926). Average approximate length 5.5". Overall approximate weight 11.48 troy ounces (including shell).
