Royal Crown Derby (English, founded 1750), 18th/19th century. A group of 10 ironstone dishes in the "Kings" pattern, including 2 round plate, 1 small oval platter, 1 low soup bowl, 2 scalloped bowls, 2 scalloped platters, 2 low soup bowls, each hand enameled in an Imari motif in cobalt and red with gilt detailing. All marked, 1 oval platter, 1 round plate, and 1 soup bowl with messy red mark (circa 1782-1825), 2 scalloped platters, 2 scalloped bowls, and 2 soup bowls with Robert Bloor mark (circa 1825-1848). Approximate height (of scalloped soup bowl) 1.75", diameter 10".
Most pieces with crazing, some staining, firing/glaze pops. Oval serving dish with approximately 90% gilt loss around the rim. Scalloped platter with chip to underside of rim. Minor gilt loss to rim. One bowl with chip at rim; minor gilt loss. The other bowl with chip at rim and approximately 75% gilt loss. Round plate with repair to underside and approximately 50% gilt loss. One bowl with flake to backside of rim. Another bowl with chip and tight hairline fracture to the back. One with multiple repairs in the form of staples to backside; fracture to the front.
