Verso of work with label from AAA with additional information on American Regionalist artist and work, also with stamp from Benjamin Carpino: Pictures and Frames, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Image depicting a horse drawn wagon with farmer on a serpentine path with wooden posts demarcating road amid stylized rolling fields and hills, farmhouse with sloped roof and wind struck tree at top left. Framed approximately 15.5" x 18.5". Sight size approximately 9.5" x 12.25". Note: Ref: Cole, 14. Limited edition lithograph connected with hinging tape on all sides. Visible remnants of earlier hinging tape at top of work. Visible mat burn, slight toning to sheet. Small scattered pinpoint foxing discoloration. No signs of rips or tears (did not remove hinging tape as we did not want to compromise the integrity of the work).
