French, early 20th century. French gilt metal gueridon table with inset black specimen marble circular top within a beaded, molded edge with stylized egg and dart decorated with fleur de lis and supported by three legs, each scrolled and hung at top with molded floral and nut wreath and terminating in leafy paw feet, united by scrolling acanthus and centered flambeau finial ending in a drop finial. Approximate height 28.75", diameter of top 18".
Light wear to patina and oxidation to metal commensurate with age. Crack to marble top running approximately 5". Area on base where three legs meet with two unmatched different finials (only two present--one smaller, the other large). One of the legs was temporarily disconnected causing structure to slightly warp. All joined to center with later nuts and bolts for stability. Table accompanied with the two unmatched finials. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
