Sperrhake (Germany (Passau, Bavaria) founded 1948), circa 1950s. Model 145 "Cembalo" harpsichord with single manual or row of black and white keys (54 total), 4 and a half octaves. Standard tapered case with mahogany and sycamore woods supported on three modern square tapered legs. Case of musical instrument marked "Sperrhake Passau" and "MADE IN GERMANY" in gold, additionally stamped with serial number "592320". Overall approximate height 42.25", width 34.5", depth 56". Scratches to case, particularly on top. Some scattered small losses to wood on corners on edges. Harpsichord in need of service, tuning and tightening of strings. Soundboard without any signs of cracks or splitting. Minor and light wear to legs. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
