American, circa 1950s. Mid Century walnut five drawer chest designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller. The five drawers graduating in size with metal "M" or wave shaped pulls, raised on black plank board legs. Marked with remains of label top drawer. Approximate height 39.5", width 40", depth 18.5".
Structurally sound. All drawers open and close with ease. Areas of staining to top as well as areas of dullness to finish. Minute chips to edges, commensurate with age and usage. Top part of second drawer face with prior unknown residue, however, it is concealed when drawer is shut.
