- Lot Description
George Ebrin Adingra (African, 1933-2005), "Female Nude", ,mixed media on canvas, signed at left. Modern and abstract highly textured painting on canvas depicting a standing female nude in profile in an interior. Abstracted figure rendered in earthy colors of brown, red, orange, white and black. Inscribed on back of stretcher with "ADINGRA" and Paris address. Framed approximately 39" x 15.75". Unframed approximately 35.75" x 12".
Condition
Under black light examination, no signs of in-painting or damage. Weight of mixed media on canvas causing some areas to cave in and others to be more raised. Excellent condition overall.
