- Lot Description
Gene Davis (American, (Washington D.C.), 1920-1985), "Untitled (Grey and Yellow)"-1981, pastel on paper, signed and dated lower right. Original minimal and modern drawing depicting vast white space with eight (in total) grey and yellow alternating lines at left and right of composition, typical of his other untitled works. Framed approximately 21.75" x 26". Sight size approximately 11" x 17".
Condition
Overall in excellent condition. Sheet attached to mat with three pieces of hinging tape along top edge. No apparent toning or mat burn. Slight rippling to sheet from handling. Very light pencil lines on sheet along interior perimeter of mat, not visible when framed. No apparent pin holes, tears, or losses.
