Galle (French (Nancy), founded 1873), circa 1920s. A "Prunelles" cameo art glass vase of bulbous form with elongated stick neck, the pale yellow ground overlaid with shades of blue and violet bearing acid etched and polished designs of blackthorn or sloes leaves and clusters of Prunelles or blue berries, the rotund base in cobalt. Signed Galle in cameo. Approximate height 14", diameter of circular foot 4".
Overall good condition. 1/2 inch internal vertical hairline at rim of mouth. Surface scratches to the rotund base.
