Wilmot Phillips (American (Georgia), 20th century). "Wash Day - Bridge, Calle dell'Arco, Venice, Italy", gouache on watercolor board, signed lower left. Finely rendered depiction of a canal in Venice, Italy with stone buildings of blue, green, and white to background surrounding a canal with arched bridge having reticulated railing to foreground, rowboats to the canal waters below and green vines growing on buildings to right in foreground.
